Week 2 Day 1

Mommy Summer Camp still going well! Worksheets and chores were done today with the added chore of feeding Phil, which didn't happen because they slept too late! I'm still getting the bulk of my work done from 5 to 8 am, which is fine with me. Treasure Box gifts have been selected and we are off for a walk to Walgreens for an afternoon treat. If the whole Summer is like this, it will be wonderful!

Day 2 of Summer Camp

The key is: be organized and turn off the television. Get the kid's Agenda items lined up, get your To Do list made and if the kids can be kept busy and bribed with Treasure Box, it is possible to get work done. At least for two days. I'm "off" now until Monday. The best thing I've done so far is turned off that stinking television. We are playing games and reading books instead. What a pleasure!

Mommy Summer Camp Day 1

My children were angels on Day 1 of Mommy Summer Camp. M had her worksheets, chore and reading done before 11:00. She helped B with his reading and they both did an excellent job. Treasure Box was a bummer because they both selected the squirt guns, which didn't work very well and they were done with them in about 10 minutes. Why do squirt guns never work?? Anyway, on to Day 2.
